Home Charity Aims
CRF wants to help save lives and keep people safe by raising the importance of Travel Safety Awareness to young people.

Caroline's Rainbow Foundation is a UK registered charity working to raise awareness of the importance of safe travel to young people, whether they are going abroad for independent travel, gap year placements, organised trips or simply making plans to visit a different country.

In particular, the charity aims to provide information about safety abroad and encourage young people to recognise and prioritise life's values wherever they may be in the world.

CRF works with the education sector, the Foreign Office and other organisations, trusts and charities to provide information about safe travel to young people.

CRF's Online "Global Guide" provides information about:

Specific safety tips for different countries
Current travel risks in different areas of the world
General tips for travelling
Helpful contacts in each country
What to do to make sure you travel as safely as possible

Education Programmes

CRF has produced a DVD, aimed at young people planning to travel during their gap year, called the "Time of Your Life". The "Time of Your Life" is an informative resource about travel safety awareness. Used in schools, it includes supportive information for teachers to encourage classroom discussions about the different aspects of travelling.

We have trained and are continuing to train young people across the UK to facilitate some of these discussions and continue our educational awareness programme as widely as possible throughout secondary schools/colleges. If you'd like to get involved or are interested in hearing more about the "Time of Your Life" and how to introduce it into a school or youth programme near you, please email CRF This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Fundraising

To support our various activities - information gathering, raising awareness, maintaining and updating of our "Global Guide" and our education and training programmes - CRF works to raise funds and awareness by organising events throughout the UK and the sales of various merchandise.

For information about current and planned fundraising events please see our events page.
